Wayside Chapel Christmas Day Street Party 2022

Wayside Chapel’s annual Christmas Day Street Party is back in full swing for 2022! Come along on Christmas Day to share this special day with the community.
There will be live music with a DJ, fantastic activities for all including a fake tattoo parlour and facepainting, and delicious 3-course community lunch.
There will also be an appearance by the one and only Santa Claus!
Christmas is often the hardest time of year for people experiencing homelessness and isolation. We invite you to come along and celebrate with Wayside Chapel and show our visitors that they are loved and not forgotten.

Event schedule:
9:00 am – 10:00 am – Light breakfast
10:00 am – 10:45 am – Morning service with Jon
11:00- 11:30am – Get ready for lunch service
11:30-1:30pm – Lunch!
1:30pm-2:30pm – Street Party!
5:00pm – Street is returned back to normal service

Donate a Plate
For the 37,715 people experiencing homelessness in NSW, Christmas is a lonely and difficult time of the year.
We urgently need to raise $1,100,000 by 25 December to make sure the vulnerable members of our community are fed and supported this Christmas.
Please ‘Donate a Plate’ now to sponsor a meal with all the trimmings, and ensure that people doing it tough during the holiday season receive the love, care and support they deserve.
Because no one should go hungry or be alone at Christmas.
Together, we can show people living on and around our streets that they are loved, and not forgotten

Bondi Community Service Centre will close from Saturday 24 December and reopen on Tuesday 3 January.
