School Education Program

Wayside Chapel’s School Education Program provides a unique opportunity for high school students to gain insight into the issues facing people living on and around the streets, and the way in which Wayside provides vital support within the community.  

The two-hour program involves a presentation and workshop to explore some of the issues facing many of Wayside’s visitors such as homelessness, social isolation and addiction. The group will then embark on a walking tour of Kings Cross and Woolloomooloo, learning about the history of the area and the many services available to people who need support.   

School Education sessions are held on Tuesday mornings 10:00am – 12:00pm, and cost  $500 plus GST per booking. Proceeds go towards our programs and services for people in need.
